Living Streets

It’s a Free walk in your neighbourhood project as we want to make it easy for people over 65 to enjoy the outdoors and get regular exercise and meet new people.

The walks are an hour long and the distance vary to suit the participants needs and ends with a café.

Often the walk leaders are over 65 and there are opportunities to become volunteer leaders.

The project supports, mental health, and enables participants to become physically active through regular gentle exercise. The walks are available to all, however we do find out a little about the walkers so that our leaders are aware of any issues they may have.
