About this event

Your chance to improve urgent and emergency care services for Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge

Health and social care partners in Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge (BHR) are keen to engage local people in our ongoing work to improve urgent and emergency care services in our area. We are looking for local people to join a workshop on the morning of Friday 7 October as the next step in making it easier to get the right care from the right service, first time.

At the workshop, they will be sharing information about the current system of urgent care services, and asking for feedback on proposals on how we make it easier to navigate, reduce any duplication and make sure it will meet future needs.

They are particularly keen to hear from parents of young children, carers and those with long term condition, as they know that they tend to use A&E more frequently than others and their information suggests that often they could be seen more appropriately by other services in the community.

The workshop will be held at the King George Conference Centre on Eastern Avenue, Newbury Park. It will run from 9.30am to 12.30pm (with breakfast and registration from 9am). More details and an agenda will be sent to confirmed attendees.
