COME ALONG AND HAVE YOUR SAY ON REDBRIDGE TRANSPORT SERVICES
The passenger transport meetings are being held in partnership with the London Borough of Redbridge on 30th November 2021. A physical meeting will be held at Redbridge Central Library from 11am to 1pm and an online meeting from 6.30pm to 8pm via Zoom.
This meeting is to explore the potential to expand Redbridge’s current passenger service provision in the borough so a far wider range of transport options could be available for residents who do not meet the criteria to access the transport provision that is currently provided.
Redbridge wants to focus their passenger transport options on a community based approach, which aims to help residents keep their independence for longer. For example a door to store shopping service which allows residents to do their shopping independently, or a scheme set up to assist older and vulnerable residents to attend health appointments and social activities that they would normally struggle to attend.
