This annual street party is a brilliant and unique, local community event.
A celebration of Deaf people and Sign Language there will be a selection of stalls from organisations, and businesses including food and drink. There will also be fun activities for children.

About Empowering Deaf Society
Empowering Deaf Society is a small deaf-led charity, based in East London and has been established for over ten years. Their services are aimed at providing support through information and advice, workshops and events as well as Signature Accredited British Sign Language Courses across Greater London.
They also work with local community services and businesses to raise awareness about the Deaf community, focusing on social integration and improving communication and understanding between the two cultures of the deaf and hearing communities.
