Free online LGBTQ+ awareness sessions for health and care professionals in Redbridge

These compact and engaging online sessions will provide an update on key issues for LGBTQ+ people, language, good practice ideas, as well as a safe space to ask any questions and identify actions to take following the session.

LGBTQ+ Experiences of Health and Care Services in Redbridge

Last year, supported by the Healthwatch Redbridge Community Cash Fund, Redbridge Rainbow explored the local perspectives of LGBTQ+ individuals in accessing health and social care. 

Issues highlighted by the research included hesitations to share LGBTQ+ identities, assumptions and misconceptions, variation in levels of training and specific gaps in services for LGBTQ+ people.
