Redbridge Carers Support Service is recruiting for Young Adult Carers Project Manager who will join its team to manage the delivery of the project and promote positive outcomes for young adult carers aged 16-30.

Hours: 30 hours per week
Contract details: Six-month fixed term contract
This is an interesting and varied role which includes both project management and frontline support work. The post holder will be responsible for:
- Identifying and supporting unpaid young adult carers from the diverse communities in Redbridge through the provision of information, advice, guidance and signposting.
- Raising awareness of the needs, aspirations and goals of young adult carers aged 16 to 30.
- Working with a range of partner agencies, such as Barnardos Young Carers Project, social care, education and health services, to develop robust communication and engagement strategies and practical action plans, leading to new and improved pathways to care and support.
- Line managing the Young Adult Carers Support Worker and relevant sessional workers and volunteers.
