Our Friendship First Drop-in provides an alternative drop-in with free refreshments and space for folk to listen and rest. Visitors can bring their own creative projects but we also provide puzzles and games for relaxation. We sometimes encourage sharing stories voluntarily, and link up by video with others that share their experiences of MH struggles. We also provide space for spiritual reflection and offer a listening ear for those who want to talk about their spiritual journey and if requested, a personal prayer service.
Knitting Club is for anyone who wants to improve knitting skills with friendly conversation. It is attended by those who want to enjoy companionship but also by those whose first language is not English.
