Sensory Specialists Ltd and RNID
Redbridge sensory services is funded by the London Borough of Redbridge and provides a statutory service for Redbridge residents with a sight and/or hearing loss. The service includes advice & information, equipment demonstration and provision (on loan on behalf of the local authority), signposting/onward referrals to other organisations, an assessment of needs, daily living skills and orientation & mobility training.
The service is currently transitioning from RNID to Sensory Specialists Ltd. RNID will no longer run sensory services but instead will focus on their new strategic programmes including health, inclusion, employment, and research.
