We have had great fun together visiting different places in our local area: Redbridge Lakes, Valentines Park, an Easter egg hunt at Valence House, a mooch around a boot sale and a shopping trip to Romford.

We have also taken part in arts and crafts, fitness, gardening, pamper sessions, teaching and learning a new skill and quizzes.

We have celebrated the coronation of King Charles III having our own party with lots of singing and dancing, we joined Redbridge Respite Care to celebrate too. We also went to Brick Lane Music Hall and had a wonderful time singing, being entertained, and enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea.

In addition to our activities, we have also had support sessions which have included an advice session and home visits from the Fire Brigade to check and install fire alarms, information and advice from the Police, a visit from a therapy dog, emotional healing sessions with Paula from the Healing Corner.

Our most recent time together was a trip to the cinema which was so much fun and a visit to Pip’s Palace a cat café where we met lots of friendly felines.

We are also starting our Sing and Socialise sessions which will be held fortnightly. There will be a live singer/musician to sing and dance to or have a chat with some nibbles and a nice cuppa.

We have lots planned already and looking forward to being stronger together.

The group meets at:
