One Place East is a user led charity providing support, services, and information for those with disabilities, health conditions and mental ill health in Redbridge and beyond.

In April of this year, Vision Foundation awarded us a grant to carry out a piece of research asking people with a visual impairment about their experiences of living in Redbridge, with a particular focus on employment.

We hope the research will let us and others, know what is working and what we can do to improve pathways to employment for people with visual impairment.

Who can take part?

We want to make sure that we speak to enough people to ensure that our findings represent the wider community of people with a visual impairment in Redbridge.

To help with this, we are currently looking for people that:

·  Live in Redbridge

·  Have a visual impairment

·  Are aged 14+

We are particularly interested in hearing from those sectors of the community that do not always feel their voices are heard.

If you want to take part in the research, you can:

  • Complete our survey – this should take between 20-25 minutes.
