MAMA-Move survey (Muslim and Motherhood Activity)

Researchers at the University of Leeds are running a UK-wide study called MAMA-Move (Muslim and Motherhood Activity), looking at how Muslim women experience physical activity, and how faith, culture and everyday life shape what feels realistic and accessible — with a particular focus on pregnancy and the period after birth.

The survey is open to Muslim women aged 18 and over living in the UK. It takes around ten minutes, is completely anonymous, and everyone who takes part is entered into a £20 voucher prize draw.

The aim is to use what people share to help shape more inclusive, culturally appropriate support for Muslim women — the kind of insight that can inform future research and services.
