Over four months between July and October 2017, Healthwatch Redbridge assessed all 45 GP practices on how well they were meeting the requirements set out by the Accessible Information Standard.

Comments from Review

  • The practice manager informed the representatives that the website has been updated and it is now more user friendly.
  • The surgery has created a communications handbook. This is adequate for staff members but not for patients.
  • The practice manager requested some information about where to buy the book. Healthwatch is happy to provide this information
  • Staff members access AIS training using Bluestream online.
  • Representatives did not see the complaints procedure.
