The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) has created a series of decision aids to help people facing a decision about treatment or care options (and their family and carers, as appropriate) make an informed choice based on which of the different options’ advantages and disadvantages matter most to them.

Cervical Screening: National and Local Perspectives

In 2024 Healthwatch Redbridge contributed to the Healthwatch England review of Cervical Screening by interviewing local women about their experiences. The insights from this involvement motivated us to develop an extended Women's Health Project.

The first stage of this project has focused on expanding our research into local women's experiences of cervical screening to produce a comprehensive view of the Redbridge perspective.

The Teashop in Redbridge: Impact Report

This report summarises the outcomes of 'Celebrating You', a four part series of Teashop sessions supported by Healthwatch Redbridge.

These sessions aimed to create a safe space to explore how identity and background shape mental wellbeing, using practices from various cultures to guide session activities.

This report reveals some of the key challenges ethnic minorities face in accessing mental wellbeing support, and demonstrates the value of rooting support services in community practices.

Healthwatch Redbridge Celebrates the Power of Local Voices

Healthwatch Redbridge marked a momentous milestone on Tuesday with its Annual General Meeting (AGM) followed by a dynamic Community Fair. The event, which showcased the power of community organisations working together to support local people, brought 25 groups from across the London Borough of Redbridge to Redbridge Town Hall to offer vital health and wellbeing advice, support and signposting.
