We all know how bad air pollution can be for our health, so Redbridge Council has been working with local community groups, GP surgeries and schools to launch ‘We Care for Our Air Redbridge’ – a range of initiatives, free activities and learning resources designed to raise awareness and empower local people to help in the battle to improve the air in Redbridge.

Getting vaccinated is the most important thing we can do to protect against serious diseases.

The Healthy Redbridge Bus will be providing free winter flu and covid-19 vaccinations at locations across the borough this winter.

For the first time in its history, the NHS has started vaccinating people against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).

The Better Me, Better Life campaign from Black Woman's Kindness Initiative (BWKI), supported by our Community Cash Fund was created to empower Black Women to have a voice in our local community in order to develop more equitable outcomes and community support provision.

Supported by the Healthwatch Redbridge Community Cash Fund, Redbridge Rainbow Community have explored the local perspectives of LGBTQ+ individuals in accessing health and social care.

Their report reflects on the insight gained from participants and identifies actions for LGBTQ+ inclusion.
