Healthwatch Redbridge marked a momentous milestone on Tuesday with its Annual General Meeting (AGM) followed by a dynamic Community Fair. The event, which showcased the power of community organisations working together to support local people, brought 25 groups from across the London Borough of Redbridge to Redbridge Town Hall to offer vital health and wellbeing advice, support and signposting.

We all know how bad air pollution can be for our health, so Redbridge Council has been working with local community groups, GP surgeries and schools to launch ‘We Care for Our Air Redbridge’ – a range of initiatives, free activities and learning resources designed to raise awareness and empower local people to help in the battle to improve the air in Redbridge.

Getting vaccinated is the most important thing we can do to protect against serious diseases.

The Healthy Redbridge Bus will be providing free winter flu and covid-19 vaccinations at locations across the borough this winter.

Comprised of local groups, charities, and organisations who want to support Redbridge residents to get the best healthcare and well-being for their communities, the Community Fair is your one-stop-shop for advice and support.

The government is seeking your views on how they can make a health service fit for the future.

For the first time in its history, the NHS has started vaccinating people against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).
