    The Accessible Information Standard (AIS) is a mandatory and statutory requirement that applies to all providers of NHS and publicly-funded adult social care services and came into force on 31 July 2016 .

    Visits were conducted across 3 hospital departments (Audiology, Eye Clinic, and the Urgent Treatment Centre/Emergency Department), and one ward (Amber A). The aim was to identify how Queen’s Hospital were meeting the (AIS) standard
